ForYourArt hosted a conversation between artist Luchita Hurtado and Hans Ulrich Obrist at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery.

Obrist interviewed the 98 year old Hurtado, who lives and works in Santa Monica, CA about her life and work. She spoke about her early life in Latin America, as well as her time living in San Francisco in the late ‘40s, where she associated with the Dynaton Group. Hurtado’s work will be included in Made in L.A. 2018 at the Hammer Museum.
