SUPPORT: ForYourArt is a platform for patronage for strengthening the arts, introducing you to projects you can sponsor, groups you can join, as well as benefit editions you can purchase to help fund local nonprofits while also building your collection.

Projects That Need You

In this series, we highlight local and web-based projects that need funding. Your contribution to these worthy causes is invaluable and is an easy way to begin your foray into arts patronage.

Join Membership Groups

Check out our Directory FYA (coming in January 2012) for L.A.-based groups that help raise money for projects and nonprofits. There’s something for everyone, literally. From LACMA’s Prints and Drawing Council to the Library Foundation of Los Angeles Young Literati, you’ll be able to support a cause you’re passionate about. Not to mention get some great perks like private exhibition walkthroughs or intimate studio visits with artists.

Benefit Editions

Check out our picks for great benefit editions supporting L.A.-based arts nonprofits. Artists like Catherine Opie, John Baldessari, Ed Moses, Andrea Bowers, and Mark Bradford are some of the bignames who have contributed their work to help fund local organizations like LA><ART, Machine Project, and Watts House Project.
