Giles Walker: The Last Supper

Opening day for the American debut of UK artist Giles Walker’s The Last Supper. A year in the making, the work is a fully-animated sculpture consisting of thirteen mechanical figures who interact around a table. Abigail Deville: If I don’t think I’m sinking, look what a hole I’m in
Night Gallery (Lincoln Heights)
Opening reception for a multimedia installation by artist Abigail DeVille. For If I don’t think I’m sinking, look what a hole I’m in, DeVille fabricates bodies and attaches them to a painted tarp blanketing Night Gallery’s ceiling for a site-specific installation that sheds light on that which is usually invisible. Christine Wang’s Repetition Compulsion will be on view in the space’s Annex Gallery. Both shows on view through October 4, 2012.
