Fowler Museum (Westwood)
Nushin Arbabzadah, author, journalist, analyst, translator, and research scholar at UCLA’s Center for the Study of Women, and Brad Adams, the executive director of Human Rights Watch’s Asia Division, will discuss Afghan women’s rights since 2001, when the international community intervened in the country. This event is presented in conjunction with The Fowler’s current exhibition Order and Disorder: Alighiero Boetti by Afghan Women. The event will feature a reception with light refreshments in the Fowler’s courtyard starting at 6pm.
