Beginning this weekend, the city-wide celebration of Southern California’s art history–Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A. 1945-1980–officially opens. In addition to the over 60 museum exhibitions, galleries form L.A. to San Diego will host exhibitions exploring the multifaceted artists, works and practices that made up this monumental era. This Saturday, October 1st, Pacific Standard Time Participating Galleries will be hosting an open house between 1 and 4pm-perfect for stopping by between opening weekend exhibitions and events.
