Student Video Works On L.A. Public Transit June 13-17

A new, roaming public art project is about to hit the streets of Los Angeles. Videos by artists and teens will be shown on Transit TV, the televisions on the Los Angeles Metro System, in a Freewaves project called Out the Window. This project engages the youth of L.A. in a creative process and shares the product with a mobile audience.

Out the Window videos will screen on Transit TV for five minutes an hour June 13-17, and for two 45-minute cycles a day June 18-19. The cycle will repeat in October. The Out the Window team will be at ALOUD at the L.A. Public Library June 14 for the program We Are Here, We Could Be Everywhere.
